A Prayer for The Day
Heavenly Father, I humbly come before You with open hands and an open heart, depending on You to help me through the day and all it will bring my way. Thank You for this wonderful day that You have allowed me to see on this side of Heaven. I desire more of You, to be more like You. Help me grow in the fruit of the Spirit and so walk closer with You. I know that any sin can grieve and diminish the voice of the Spirit. I pray against the temptation to sin. Fill me up with more of Your character, Your love, Your mercy. I want to walk and talk like Christ. I want to love like Christ. Let Your will and promises always be a meditation of my heart. Help me live today in a way that brings honor to Your holy name. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen
