On December 29th, the last Sunday of 2019, God gave me a word that we were about to enter into a decade of greater, double portion. Then in March COVID–19 showed up with no end in sight. Unfortunately, along with the COVID pandemic is an influx of doomsday prophets, saying that the coronavirus is a sign we’re at the end of days.
Praise the Lord!!! This year is moving right along, some may say very quickly, and some may say not fast enough with all the drama going on! But Halleluiah here we are, we made it to August, the 8th month of the year.
Have you been praying about a situation in your life and waiting for a breakthrough? Maybe you feel as though victory is passing you by. God is sovereign. Only He can see the big picture. I don’t know anyone who likes to wait. I certainly didn’t. I had to learn to wait and trust God.
“Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.” − Psalm 68:1-2
“Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls—Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.” - Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NKJV)
Wow! We made it to 2020. Now what shall we do with the new mercy that God has given us. I believe because God’s laws are for our good (Deuteronomy 10:13) there is nothing more important that we can do as we move forward into the new year than write God’s word on our heart.
