This morning, as I was taking communion and thanking Jesus for what He did on the cross, I felt a deep sense of gratitude. I thanked Him for the stripes on His back, the shedding of His blood, and the nails in His hands and feet. However, when I reached the crown of thorns on His head, the Lord would not let me move past it. I began to reflect on the spiritual meaning of that crown.
