The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” - John 10:10 When my divorce was finalized, even though I was ok with the outcome, I was angry and hurt. It was almost like death, like something I held so dear had died. I felt like 10 years of my precious life had been wasted. I felt ashamed, like a failure, like a fool for being loyal and faithful to a man who walked away and never looked back for a younger woman and party lifestyle. I felt like I had just been thrown away. I knew that I had to get rid of these destructive emotions and feelings, so I took them all to the Throne of Grace. After a period of crying and cleansing, my Father God plainly said, “Now lift up your head, for I am a Restorer. I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten… and I will heal your wounds. So when He was done speaking I went and looked up those scriptures and everything on restoration. OMG look at what God says to me and anyone else who feels like I felt or has experienced a failed relationship. I personalized it since He was talking directly to me – and I want you to do the same think because He is speaking directly to you too: "Fear not, Angeline; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten… and ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed." - Joel 2:21-26 ”For I will restore health unto you Angeline, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, Angeline, whom no man will seek after.” - Jeremiah 30:17. Oh my goodness this one blessed me for sure because one of the thoughts that kept coming was because of my age that no one would want me now. Verse 18 in The Message Bible reads ‘I’ll turn things around… I'll compassionately come in and rebuild… The town will be rebuilt on its old foundations; the mansions will be splendid again. Again God is saying nothing is lost. I am telling you my tears of sorrow turned to joy right then and there and I couldn’t do anything but rejoice and praise Him! Restore...reinstate, re-establish, bring back, return, refurbish, renovate, repair, make amends, (make an) end, finish, full, give again, make good, (re-) pay (again), (make) (to) (be at) peace . . . proper (-ous), recompense, render, require, make restitution, restore, reward, surely. When God restores He brings the object of restoration back in a better way than it was in its former state! When God restores, He brings increase with it! When God restores, He multiplies! Look at Job. When God restored Job, He gave unto Job--double (Job 42:10). That is the nature of Our God. God wants to restore everything to you too! What has the enemy stolen from you? Jesus has indeed come to restore what Satan has taken away. Restoration is realized by faith in God and His Word and our declaration of that truth. "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32). So let it be in Jesus Name. Amen! Comments are closed.

On August 25th, 2025, Holy Spirit instructed me to read a scripture each day corresponding to the time on the clock when I wake up and from the book of Psalm and Proverbs. I will keep going and post the passages "TODAY'S WORD" until Father tells me to stop.
This is a great way to get in morning meditation. I hope you will follow along with me... I'm excited about what God is going to do with this. Blog Post Categories
