This morning at 3:05 am, the Lord woke me, and the Holy Spirit directed me to read Psalm 30:5 and then “see what Proverbs says” at Proverbs 30:5. What a reminder that God’s Word is alive and precise, meeting us exactly where we are—even by the numbers on a clock! Today’s passages speak of His favor, His joy, and the purity of His Word that shields us when we put our trust in Him. Let's read... Psalm 30:5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. Proverbs 30:5: Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. LESSON FOR TODAY Your sorrow has an expiration date, but God’s favor does not. Joy is on the way, because His Word is unshakable, and His protection is sure. Even in your darkest hour, cling to His promises, for they are your shield until morning breaks with joy. PRAYER “Lord God, thank You that my night season is not forever. Thank You that Your Word is pure and true, and that You shield me when I put my trust in You. I choose to rest in Your favor and look forward to the joy that is coming. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
