The clock read 3:02 am when I woke, and today’s Scriptures are Psalm 3:2–3 and Proverbs 3:1–2. These verses remind us that even when others doubt or oppose us, God Himself is our shield, our glory, and the lifter of our head. His Word, when kept in our hearts, adds life, length of days, and peace to our journey. Let's read... Psalm 3:2-3: Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Proverbs 3:1-2: My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. LESSON FOR TODAY God is your shield against every voice of doubt, your glory when circumstances try to strip it away, and your peace when life feels uncertain. If you keep His Word close and walk in obedience, He promises days filled with life and a heart anchored in peace. PRAYER “Father, thank You for being my shield, my glory, and the lifter of my head. Help me to treasure Your Word in my heart and to live by it daily. Let Your peace and protection surround me today and all my days. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
