At 5:01 am, the Spirit led me to Psalm 5:1 and Proverbs 5:1. How perfect that today’s passages focus on listening. Let's read… Psalm 5:1: Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Proverbs 5:1: My son, pay attention to my wisdom; Lend your ear to my understanding. LESSON FOR TODAY Prayer is not one-sided. God hears both our words and our silent meditations, but He also asks us to tune our ears to His wisdom. Psalm 5:1 reminds us that God listens not only to what we say aloud, but also to the unspoken prayers, longings, and burdens deep within. Proverbs 5:1 turns that around and calls us to listen. Just as we long for God to hear us, He longs for us to hear Him. His wisdom gives direction, protection, and life. When we speak and listen, when our hearts are open both ways we walk in true fellowship with Him. PRAYER “Lord, thank You for hearing not only my words but also the cries of my heart. Help me to quiet myself enough to hear Your wisdom and walk in Your understanding today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” Comments are closed.

On August 25th, 2025, Holy Spirit instructed me to read a scripture each day corresponding to the time on the clock when I wake up and from the book of Psalm and Proverbs. I will keep going and post the passages "TODAY'S WORD" until Father tells me to stop.
This is a great way to get in morning meditation. I hope you will follow along with me... I'm excited about what God is going to do with this. Blog Post Categories
