The clock said 6:06 am. Today’s verses are Psalm 6:6 and Proverbs 6:6. What a contrast these two passages reveal: one shows the depth of human weariness and tears, and the other points to diligence, wisdom, and steady perseverance. What I gathered is that God is so amazing in that His Word speaks to both our brokenness and our calling to rise with strength. Let's read… Psalm 6:6 shows David in deep sorrow, so weary that his nights are filled with tears. We are reminded that God sees every tear and hears every groan. Our brokenness is not hidden from Him.
Proverbs 6:6 shifts the focus to wisdom through diligence. The ant works faithfully, wisely, and consistently, without needing to be pushed. In this, we see God’s call for us not to remain in despair but to rise with discipline, purpose, and endurance. Lesson For Today God cares about your tears, but He also calls you to rise in wisdom and diligence. Weeping may endure for the night, but strength and wisdom come when we look to Him and take steps of faith. Prayer “Lord, You see my tears and know my weariness. Strengthen me today with wisdom and diligence. Help me rise with renewed purpose, trusting that You will turn my mourning into joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” Comments are closed.

On August 25th, 2025, Holy Spirit instructed me to read a scripture each day corresponding to the time on the clock when I wake up and from the book of Psalm and Proverbs. I will keep going and post the passages "TODAY'S WORD" until Father tells me to stop.
This is a great way to get in morning meditation. I hope you will follow along with me... I'm excited about what God is going to do with this. Blog Post Categories
