I woke up this morning at 5:25 am. The Scriptures for today are: Psalm 5:2, 5 and Proverbs 5:2, 5. Psalm 5:2, 5: 2 Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. 5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.
Proverbs 5:2,5: 2 That you may preserve discretion, And your lips may keep knowledge. 5 Her feet go down to death, Her steps lay hold of hell. These verses remind us of two vital truths: God hears the cries of the righteous who turn to Him in prayer, and He stands against pride and wickedness. At the same time, Proverbs warns of the deceptive path of sin. It may sound appealing, but its end is death. Today’s word calls us to cry out to God, walk in discretion, and guard our steps so they remain on the path of life. Psalm 5:2–5 shows the intimacy of prayer, “My King and my God, for to You I will pray.” Prayer aligns us with His holiness and separates us from the ways of the wicked. Proverbs 5:2,5 urges us to preserve discretion and keep knowledge on our lips. Sin may whisper tempting words, but its steps lead to death and destruction. Wisdom calls us to recognize the danger and choose life. Lesson for Today God hears the prayer of the humble heart. When you cry out to Him, He guards your path with wisdom and delivers you from the steps that lead to destruction. Stay prayerful, stay discerning, and walk in His truth. Prayer “Father, I lift my voice to You today, my King and my God. Hear my cry and keep my steps in Your wisdom. Forgive me for times I have listened to the voice of temptation instead of Your truth. Help me preserve discretion, guard my lips, and walk the path that leads to life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” Come back tomorrow for #TODAYSWORD Comments are closed.
