The clock said 2:07 am. The Scriptures for today are: Psalm 2:07: “I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.” Proverbs 2:07: “He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;” Psalm 2:7 is a declaration of God’s eternal decree: “You are My Son; today I have begotten You.” This prophetic verse points to Jesus, the Son of God, and through Him we are made children of God. Our strength flows from knowing who we are in Him.
Proverbs 2:7 assures us that God doesn’t just give wisdom, He stores it up for those who walk uprightly. It is preserved and ready for us, and He Himself becomes our shield of protection as we live in alignment with His Word. Lesson for Today Today’s Word is a reminder that in Christ, you are a child of God. From that identity flows both wisdom and protection. When you walk uprightly, God not only equips you with wisdom but also surrounds you with His shield of safety. Prayer “Father, thank You for calling me Your child through Christ Jesus. Help me walk uprightly so I may receive the wisdom You have stored up for me. Be my shield today and every day, guarding me as I live in the truth of who I am in You.
