This morning’s Word brought me to Psalm 4:3 and Proverbs 4:3. Let's see what God has to say to us.... Psalm 4:3: But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
Proverbs 4:3: When I was my father’s son, Tender and the only one in the sight of my mother, Psalm 4:3 assures us that those who walk in godliness are chosen and set apart by God. He doesn’t just set us aside, He sets us for Himself. Because of this covenant relationship, we can have confidence that when we call, He hears. Proverbs 4:3 paints a picture of a tender child, loved and treasured in the sight of both father and mother. It’s a reminder that God not only sets us apart but also delights in us as His beloved children, guiding us with care and wisdom. Lesson For Today You are not forgotten or overlooked—you are set apart for God Himself. Just as a child is tenderly cared for and taught, God listens to your prayers and lovingly leads you in wisdom. Prayer “Father, thank You for setting me apart for Yourself. Thank You that You hear me when I call. Help me to walk in the confidence of being Your child, cherished and guided by Your wisdom and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” Comments are closed.
