Today’s Word invites us to pause and reflect on the greatness of God and the value He places on us. Today’s Scriptures (NKJV)
Psalm 8:3–7: “3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? 5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7 All sheep and oxen—Even the beasts of the field.” Proverbs 8:3–7: “3 She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors.4 ‘To you, O men, I call, And my voice is to the sons of men. 5 O you simple ones, understand prudence, And you fools, be of an understanding heart. 6 Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, And from the opening of my lips will come right things; 7 For my mouth will speak truth; Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.’” Psalm 8 fills us with awe at His creation and reminds us that He crowned us with glory and entrusted us with dominion over the works of His hands. Psalm 8:3–7 draws us into wonder: the God who placed the stars in the sky is mindful of us and has given us a crown of glory and honor. This is not just a title—it’s a mandate. God has entrusted us with authority and stewardship over His creation. Proverbs 8 calls us to listen to wisdom’s cry, which speaks truth and calls us into understanding and righteousness. Together, these verses show that with the privilege of dominion comes the responsibility to walk in wisdom and truth. Proverbs 8:3–7 teaches that wisdom is available to all who will listen. It calls out publicly, urging us to grow in understanding and choose what is right. Dominion without wisdom can lead to pride or misuse of authority, but when paired with wisdom and truth, it reflects God’s heart and brings His order into the world. Lesson for Today God has given you dignity, authority, and a crown of glory and He calls you to exercise it with wisdom and integrity. Tune your ear to wisdom’s cry, speak truth, and live as one entrusted with God’s creation. Prayer “Lord, I am amazed that You are mindful of me and have crowned me with glory, honor and dominion. Help me steward the authority You’ve given me with wisdom and righteousness. Let my heart and lips stay aligned with Your truth so that my life reflects Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” Comments are closed.

On August 25th, 2025, Holy Spirit instructed me to read a scripture each day corresponding to the time on the clock when I wake up and from the book of Psalm and Proverbs. I will keep going and post the passages "TODAY'S WORD" until Father tells me to stop.
This is a great way to get in morning meditation. I hope you will follow along with me... I'm excited about what God is going to do with this. Blog Post Categories
