Put The Word In Your Mouth Vol 2: Prayers Of Praise, Thanksgiving and Proclamations From The BibleWhen you praise the Lord, you are taking the focus away from any problem, pain, or heartache, and you're placing your focus on God, the One who can fix any problem. When you pray and declare God's Word, you are building and releasing your faith and working with God to see His plans come to pass. That is the power of praising Him. That is the power of declaring His Word. You're saying to every problem or hindrance, “You're not bigger than my God!”
The effective, fervent prayer of the righteous shall avail much. I encourage you to meditate on the Scriptures within this book. Slowly and reverently repeat them and others that the Holy Spirit brings to your heart to yourself until it gets down into your spirit. Don’t view these prayers and proclamations as a formula, but as a model to follow. Read these prayers of praise, thanksgiving, and proclamations out loud because when you speak the Word of God, you release the electrifying, miracle-working power of God into your life, into your circumstances, and into the atmosphere. Declare them early in the morning, before you retire for the evening, while you exercise, or any time of day. As you do, you will experience the fire and presence of God. You can use these Scriptures to help prompt your prayers and draw you into His presence. |
