Communion Confession
|
"24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes." (1 Corinthians 11:24-26)

Take the bread and make this confession, then eat:
Lord Jesus, as I take this bread, I thank You for the sacrifice of Your body. I thank You that in Your body You bore my sins, my sicknesses, my pains, and every affliction, both physical and emotional. You carried it all to the cross. Your Word declares that by Your stripes I am healed, and I receive that healing now.
Take of the cup and make this confession:
Father God, show Your glory in Me. Show Your glory in my family. Show Your glory in my pastors and in my church family. Father, show me Your glory. In Jesus' name, I ask. Amen.

Take of the cup and make this confession:
- Lord Jesus, I thank You for shedding Your precious blood for me. Through Your blood, I have been redeemed and brought back to the Father. Because of Your sacrifice, the wall that once separated me from God has been torn down. The veil has been removed, and I now have access to the Father.
- I thank You for everything You have provided for me through the New Covenant. Your Word declares that all the promises of God are yes and amen in You, and I receive those promises today.
- I receive healing, redemption, and the victory You have won. I declare that I am the head and not the tail. I am above and not beneath. I thank You that Your blood sanctifies me.
- I thank You for protecting me, and I thank You for a long and prosperous life. I thank You for being Savior.
Father God, show Your glory in Me. Show Your glory in my family. Show Your glory in my pastors and in my church family. Father, show me Your glory. In Jesus' name, I ask. Amen.
