Jesus said in Luke 19:10, "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." These words are filled with great victory for our lives. Tomorrow is Resurrection Sunday! As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we also celebrate the fact that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead raises us Believers from spiritual death, free to live a new life of victory over sin. ![]() Resurrection means restoration to life. I am reminded of the story of Ezekiel and the Valley of Dry Bones in Ezekiel 37. The bones in the valley represent the nation of Israel, who for centuries had been living in sin and rebellion, confident in their own strength, as if they didn't need God. God continuously tried to get their attention by sending warnings, prophetic messages, and even invasions, to remind them of their humble identity and His holy nature. Finally, because of their continued rebellion, God removed them from their promised land and sent them into captivity in Babylon. I want to point out that God didn't exile the Israelites just to punish them for punishment's sake. He wanted to bring His people to a state of repentance and humility. When God spoke to Ezekiel in Chapter 37, the Israelites had been in Babylon for ten years and had lost hope. They needed a miracle! Again, God heard their cry and speaks a prophetic word to His prophet. God begins by saying, "Hear the word of the Lord." When God calls us to hear, whether through Scripture or through His prophet, He is saying listen, this is for your own good, so pay attention, and listen with intensity. Look what God says in Deuteronomy 6:4-9: “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” Jesus said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (Matthew 11:15) The bones Ezekiel sees in the valley are not just dry, but very dry (verse 2). In other words, Israel’s hope as a nation has completely dried up. So, God tells Ezekiel to prophesy to the dry bones. Prophetically, I believe this is a word to the Body of Christ today – ME and YOU, so listen. Don’t miss this! Now, we know that God is God and. He is all powerful. Surely, He can raise the dead. But God chose to use Ezekiel in performing this miracle. When God asked Ezekiel if these dry bones can live I believe He was testing Ezekiel to see what say. He wanted to use him as a conduit, a channel, and mouthpiece for His power. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Ezekiel was smart, he said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know." In other words, only You have the power to breathe life into dead things. A couple of years ago God spoke a word of restoration to me. This morning when I awoke, I heard the words “it’s still restoration season.” Just as God resurrected, and restored those dry bones, God wants to resurrect, and restore the dry things in your life! Those very dry bones were disconnected, disjointed, and scattered throughout in the valley, but as Ezekiel spoke, the right bones began to connect with the right body. The sinews formed, then flesh and skin formed, and God breathed the Breath of Life into them, and they stood up to become an exceedingly great army! He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Let me remind you that the same Spirit (breath) of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you (Romans 8:11). God has a plan for your life that is so big that He has given you a group of Angels to help you get to the finish line. God has given you words to serve you. When you speak your words, your words will go out and accomplish what you have told them to do. I prophesy to you that your days of lack and being broke are over. You have been born again, created to rule, and ordained to operate in the supernatural (John 14:12). Your dominion and authority have been restored. You are a citizen of the Kingdom of God, created to reign and not be reigned on. You are chosen by God for this day, for this time and place to be a conduit, a vessel for God to manifest His Kingdom on earth. Greatness is in your DNA. Healing and restoration flows through your veins. You are anointed to speak and declare the will of God in the earth and as you do, He will perform His will that is spoken. People may have rejected you, but God has not rejected you. God says you are accepted in the beloved and the devil is totally defeated in your life now. You are God’s workmanship. God Himself has put you together and made you to bring peace to every place where your feet tread. You are not defeated; you are victorious for He has given His angels charge over you, to encamp around you and to keep you in all your ways. They shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Every part of your life: spirit, soul, and body, physically, financially, and socially are now made whole. You are going to be promoted! You are going to well-spoken of and distinguished because God himself has His hand on you. Jesus is your King, your Lord seated at the right hand of God making intercession for you. “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” -- Ephesians 3:20 Do you hear what I hear?” If so, prophesy to your life today and let the wind of the Spirit flow into you!
