“Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.” − Psalm 68:1-2
“Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls—Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.” - Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NKJV)
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the world is full of darkness. Because of sin, we all experience things God never intended us to experience. Sin has brought brokenness, heartache, pain, and tears. Light improves our vision, so it is important that we acquire the Light of Christ and remain in it.
Today as I sought God on what to pray about and meditate on I had no clue until I received a phone call from a loved one. Immediately after I hung up, I heard the words “God Breaks Cycles.”
“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John 4:10 NLT
As Christians the greatest battle that we face is the battle with our own mind. What we think on (meditate on) we believe, do, and say. Proverbs 23:7 tells us as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
Most parents and grandparents want what is best for their children. There isn’t anything a good mother or earthly father won’t do for their children. God is a good Father. Scripture says, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! " (Matthew 7:11)
Wow! We made it to 2020. Now what shall we do with the new mercy that God has given us. I believe because God’s laws are for our good (Deuteronomy 10:13) there is nothing more important that we can do as we move forward into the new year than write God’s word on our heart.

Dating or mate compatibility goes beyond shared interests, whether both people love music or are of the same faith. When choosing a mate, we must be focused on more than good chemistry. The clock said 5:32 when I woke up this morning. I'm not sure if I had a dream or if I just heard a word, but when I awoke the word I heard was sex trafficking, what I saw was children being snatched and taken away from their families to be trafficked and I heard pray. As I began to pray, I realized that I didn't know what to pray. I didn't know how to pray, so I asked the Holy Spirit to use me to pray the Father's will and I began to pray in the Spirit. Some words that were clear as the Spirit prayed where “hope,” “protection,” “Father's will,” “freedom,” “repentance” and “forgiveness.”
